In this two-week class, we will unravel the mystery of knitting socks on 2 circular needles. By the end of the class, you will have the skills needed to start knitting socks for all your friends and family.

Learn Entrelac
Ever wonder how knitters create the woven look of entrelac? Through this two-week class we will learn this wonderful technique and create a beautiful scarf in the process.
Saturday 10:30am-12:00pm, Nov. 8 and 15 • $45 per person
Short Rows on Lizard Ridge
While knitting your first square of the famous Lizard Ridge Afghan, you'll learn how to create invisible, yet elegant shaping using the short row technique. A small amount of prep work is required.

Magic Loop
Have you seen people knitting socks on one long circular needle and wondered: “how do they do that?” In this two-week class, we’ll teach you this hot new technique and get you ready to loop on any circular project.
Sat. 1:30-3:00pm: Oct. 25 and Nov. 1 • $45 per person
Learn to Spindle
Interested in learning more about fiber? How yarn is created? How to spin your own? In this class, Amy King will get you spinning on a spindle, explain the basics of spinning, and introduce you to a variety of fibers.
Wed. November 12, 6:30-8:30pm • $35 per person plus a $18 materials fee.
The materials fee covers the cost of 6 ounces of fiber, selected specifically for the class. Amy will have you trying a number of different fiber types to see how each one feels and reacts to the spindle.
Spindles will be available to borrow for the class, or for purchase.
Introduction to Design with Amy King
Learn to design your own sweater with published designer and fiber artist, Amy King. You’ll learn how to measure, where to measure and how to turn your gauge swatch into the sweater you really want. You’ll be able to make your own sweater, be it lace, cables, or plain stockinette. We’ll go over Raglans, Drop Sleeves, and Yoke sweaters in this class. A small amount of prep work is required.

The Knitting Experience After Hours
Have you ever wanted to have a yarn shop all to yourself? To play with color combinations, pore over patterns, knit and chat with friends? Here is your chance! Reserve a private shopping session after our normal business hours. Bring up to 9 of your friends to shop, talk, have a cup of tea, sit, knit, and relax!

Registration fees are nonrefundable, and unless specified, class fees do not include materials.
